Week of April 29, 2024
While there are no changes to our Signals this week, we would like to highlight the importance of, and reason for, the presence of social and cultural factors as a Signal that helps inform investment decision-making. Just this week, on campuses across the United States, protests have sprung up over the Israel/Hamas war. In many instances, protesters are asking for divestment and, as we saw decades ago with Apartheid in South Africa, this can influence capital markets.
