We at Sigma Investment Counselors understand and appreciate that our clients are concerned about their privacy and about the confidentiality and security of information that we may obtain from them. To protect your privacy we have adopted a Privacy Policy which describes the procedures we have taken to safeguard your information and what client information we may share with others.
If you are an existing client or choose to become a client of Sigma Investment Counselors, you will need to give us certain personal information so we may establish your account. We pledge our commitment to maintain the confidentiality of this information. This Privacy Policy applies to our current and former clients.

We collect and share with others personal information about you that is nonpublic personal information –information about you that is not publicly available. This information is provided through the following sources:

To whom we share information about you
We limit the collection and use of nonpublic personal information. Sigma will collect and use this information when a client has knowingly provided such information to us in order to facilitate the client’s relationship with us. We may share your personal information with certain non-affiliated companies. Non-affiliated companies include broker-dealers, banks, accountants and attorneys which you have designated or which you have agreed to utilize.
What information about you do we disclose to non-affiliates
We may share personal information with non-affiliates companies and government agencies only to the extent permitted or required by law, for legal, regulatory or other purposes. These non-affiliated companies include broker-dealers, banks, accountants and attorneys, which have been designated by you. This information may be shared to service your account.
These non-affiliated companies facilitate the processing of transactions, account maintenance and other related services in connection with your investments or other transactions handled by Sigma.

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, security and integrity of your personal information. Our employees are subject to a Code of Ethics, which governs employee conduct and the use of confidential client information. Sigma employees are only authorized to access or use client information for authorized business purposes to fulfill their responsibilities.
Protection of client information has always been a top priority at Sigma. As technological advances make access to information easier, we are constantly striving to protect your information. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your personal information.
