The game also has a useful lesson for investors. Don’t forget what got you there. When markets are going against you and none of your strategies are working, don’t give up and sell everything. Sit down (go to the Locker room), review your game plan, talk to your advisor(s) (team mates and coaches) and remember your long term objectives.
Markets fluctuate but history suggests that if you stay the course you can rebound and generally reach new highs.
