J. Paul Getty (1892-1976) provided an excellent summary of Germany’s problem with Greece’s debts. “If you owe the bank $100, that’s your problem. If you owe the bank $100 million, that’s the bank’s problem.”
With that in mind, it will be interesting to see how this issue plays out over time.
