Sigma Investment Counselors builds analytical staff with the addition of Wenma Gorman, CFA.
Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Wenma (Wenny) Gorman brings to Sigma Investment Counselors over 10 years of experience in the investment industry, most recently with Fidelity Investments. Prior to her work at Fidelity, Wenny instructed executives from Fortune 500 Companies regarding the Chinese language, customs and business strategies.
Sigma’s Chief Investment Officer, Denise Farkas, CFA, noted “Increasingly, fully diversified investment portfolios require a global perspective. With a rich knowledge of Asian history and practices, Wenny brings a unique view to Sigma’s research effort and we are pleased to have her on our team.”
Wenny obtained her Bachelor Degree of Arts from Eastern China Normal University and has her Master Degree of Arts from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. She earned her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2011.
